The Company’s aim is to appoint, train, develop and promote its employees on the basis of merit and ability. All employees have a duty both morally and legally not to discriminate against individuals. Employees are responsible for application of Rapid’s Equal Opportunities Policy which extends to the treatment of members of public and fellow employees. Line managers and supervisors involved in recruitment, selection, promotion and training of employees and are also responsible for the practical application of Equal Opportunities Policy in all aspect of our business.

Disciplinary action under the disciplinary procedure will be taken against any employee who is found to have committed an act of unlawful discrimination. Discriminatory conduct and sexual or racial harassment will be regarded as acts of gross misconduct.

If there is any doubt about appropriate treatment under the Rapid’s Equal Opportunities Policy, employees should consult their immediate supervisor. Grievance procedure is available to any employee who which to challenge unfair discrimination against them.
